Please understand that proper bra fitting online is a two part process and achieving an ideal fit may take one or more exchange of sizes. Part One: You send me your measurements using this form and I will email you a band and cup size based on your accurate measurements. The more accurate your measurements the more accurate your estimated size can be.
Part Two: You purchase a bra from British Lace Bras and receive it quickly. Try on your new bra making adjustments as described with your new bra and if the fit isn't right, you and I will discuss the fit and exchange bras until we have achieved an optimal fit for you.
Note: If you have quickly lost a great deal of weight there may be a problem getting any bra to fit due to the resulting large amount of excess skin.

Use a cloth tailor's or dressmaker's tape measure. (You can also use a strong piece of string and a standard tape measure) A helper with your measurements can greatly increase accuracy! If you take accurate measurements I can give you an accurate size. All the questions I ask take the place of what a "professional bra fitter" would see while she is in the booth with you. Think of me as a blind bra fitter! How would you help a blind bra fitter to fit you for a bra?
Measuring Directions
1. Fullest Bust Measurement:
a. Wear your best fitting bra without padding. b. Measure around the fullest part of the bra using just enough pressure to keep the tape level.
Measure completely around the bust at the fullest point, holding the tape measure straight but not tight.
2. With your best fitting bra on look down between your breasts. Typically the center band (the "gore") of your bra will be an inch or more away from your chest. Measure the distance from the "gore" of your bra (between the cups) to your breastbone. In other words, how far in inches is the center of your bra band lifting off your chest? This measurement gives me an idea of how much more room you are going to need for the cups to fit correctly.
3. Remove your bra and measure your ribcage as HIGH as possible UP UNDER your breasts, where proper fitting band will rest.
(For most women their ribcage gets smaller towards the top. You want to measure your ribcage where your bra band is supposed to be, just under your breasts) Be sure to hold the measuring tape level. If you don't it can add extra inches that aren't there! So that I can better understand your body type you will need make two measurements, once loose and once very tight in the same place.
Only for those ladies with implants or very firm breasts. With bra OFF, please measure your "Crease to Crease" "Edge to Edge" (one side of one breast to opposite side of the same breast). Simply measure horizontally (level) around your breast from where your breast attaches to your chest on the side around to where your breast attaches to your chest between your breasts. Do not include both breasts, just one!
